As you may have ascertained from my flash reaction post to Kanye's new Album "My Dark Twisted Fantasy" you probably realized that I found "All of the Lights" to be the best song on a masterful album. Kanye recently released his latest video, done by super music video director Hype Williams. The video starts with the intro track to all of the lights before launching into a multi-colored, almost seizure inducing light show. The video clearly references French film director Gaspar Noe's latest film Enter the Void (Check it out if you're into trippy drug movies where the main character has a drug overdose and you follow his out of body experience through a hyper-colored Tokyo through his POV.) Here are my immediate reactions: Kanye on top of the cop car in the Alley? Badass. Rihanna probably looks the best I've ever seen her. (Not a huge Rhi-Rhi fan though.) and...while there isn't much of a story, visually it's worth checking out for sure.
